RawalPindi, Murree Drop in District Rankings; Lahore Ranks 11th

RAWALPINDI: The districts of Rawalpindi and Murree have seen a sharp decline in their overall performance rankings in the Rawalpindi Region, according to the Punjab government’s district-wise performance report for April.

Rawalpindi district’s ranking fell drastically from the top three to 26th place, while the hill station Murree slipped to 25th position. Lahore district secured the 11th spot in the report.

The report lists Bahawalnagar as the top-performing district, followed by Layyah in second place and Pakpattan in third. Rajanpur ranks fourth, Vehari fifth, Chiniot sixth, and Lodhran seventh. Okara holds the eighth spot, Khanewal ninth, and Rahim Yar Khan ranks tenth.

Other rankings include Mandi Bahauddin at 12th, Faisalabad 13th, Bhakkar 14th, Toba Tek Singh 15th, Multan 16th, Muzaffargarh 17th, and Gujranwala 18th.

Mianwali stands at 19th, Gujrat 20th, Sargodha 21st, Bahawalpur 22nd, Sahiwal 23rd, Khushab 24th, Nankana Sahib 27th, Sheikhupura 28th, Attock 29th, and Sialkot at 30th place.
