Pakistan’s men’s cricket team is set to visit Bangladesh next month for a three-match T20I series, as announced by the Bangladesh Cricket Board on June 25. The tour follows the sides’ earlier encounter this year, where Pakistan secured a 3-0 series victory on home soil in Lahore.
The series will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, with all matches scheduled to start at 6 pm local time. Pakistan will arrive in Dhaka on July 16, 2025. The fixtures are slated for Sunday, July 20; Tuesday, July 22; and Thursday, July 24.
For Pakistan, this series offers a chance to regain form following a disappointing recent defeat to Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Bangladesh will look to turn the tables after being swept 3-0 in Lahore earlier this year.
The tour will also mark the first overseas assignment for Pakistan’s new white-ball head coach, Mike Hesson. Known for his focus on nurturing young talent, Hesson is expected to use the series as an opportunity to test fresh faces in preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup, set to take place in India and Sri Lanka next year.
