Atif Aslam’s Instagram reels are officially taking over, and it seems like everyone’s loving it. In a post shared on Friday, the singer enlisted The Legend of Maula Jatt director Bilal Lashari, along with stars Fawad Khan and Faris Shafi, to join him in his latest reel antics.
The caption on the reel read, “How it feels when the OG friend group finally gets back together,” as the group of celebrities confidently strutted towards the camera. “Avengers assemble,” Atif added, showing off his signature humor.
It looks like the Jeene Laga Hoon singer has a newfound knack for bringing together big names to boost his influencer game, a talent that’s only recently come to the forefront. In a previous reel shot at the same location, Atif teamed up with Hasan Raheem and Abdul Hannan for a singers-only skit, which also featured Faris.
“Called up college friends during a school fight,” read the caption on that one. The reel kicked off with Hasan chatting on the phone while Hannan stood arms crossed, ready to throw down. The scene cut to Atif and Faris walking up confidently to the situation, all set to make their dramatic entrance. With intense background music and a playful vibe, it captured the group’s comedic timing perfectly.
Fans have been pretty surprised by these fresh developments on Atif’s Instagram, but they’re definitely not complaining. One user joked, “Man, it feels like after singing, he wants an Influencer of the Year award,” while another commented, “It’s Atif Aslam’s world, and we’re just living in it.”
And of course, some fans couldn’t resist the GTA 6 comments. One fan pointed out, “We got Atif and Fawad in one reel before GTA 6,” while another chimed in, “We got brainrot Atif Aslam before Tralalero Tralala in GTA 6.”
Even when traveling abroad, Atif’s sense of humor was on full display. On Monday, he shared a reel of himself at an airport with his backpack worn backward, holding his phone to his ear. “Me, as a grown man, still calling my mom to tell her that I’ve landed safely,” read the caption.
This shift toward a more comedic and light-hearted social media presence is a new side to Atif that fans didn’t see coming, but they’re here for it. One user wondered, “Who is handling Atif’s Instagram?” as the singer’s followers embraced this new, fun direction. “Welcome to the meme world,” said one fan, while another added, “Bro is conquering the meme world after conquering music.”
