The death toll from Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza has climbed to nearly 54,000, with 122,797 people injured, according to Al Jazeera, citing the health ministry of Gaza.
At least 38 Palestinians have lost their lives and 204 more have been injured in Israeli attacks across the territory over the past 24 hours, the ministry reported.
The ministry also noted that the figures do not include those who have died in northern Gaza, as access to hospitals in that region remains extremely difficult.
Since Israel broke the ceasefire on March 18, at least 3,785 people have been killed and 10,756 others injured in Gaza, the statement added.
