Astronomical data indicates that the new moon of Zil Hajj 1446 AH will appear on May 27, 2025, at 08:02 PST.
By sunset on May 27 (29th Ziqad 1446 AH), the new moon will be approximately 11 hours and 34 minutes old.
According to SUPARCO, along the country’s coastal areas, the interval between sunset and moonset will be about 37 minutes.
Even under ideal weather conditions, the new moon is unlikely to be visible, even with the aid of a telescope.
