C-130 wins top trophy; JF-17C Block III honoured for excellence and spirit
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) aircraft garnered international acclaim at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2025 in the United Kingdom, according to Radio Pakistan.
The PAF’s C-130 transport aircraft clinched first place, earning the prestigious Concours d’Elegance Trophy for its standout performance and presentation. Meanwhile, the cutting-edge JF-17C Block III fighter jet received the coveted ‘Spirit of the Meet’ Trophy, celebrating its exceptional performance and display of technical excellence.
Notably, the JF-17C Block III flew non-stop from Pakistan to the UK through continuous air-to-air refuelling—demonstrating its endurance and the PAF’s operational sophistication. The aircraft played a prominent role in the recent Marka-e-Haq operation against India, further underlining its strategic importance.
These accolades at one of the world’s most prestigious airshows underscore the Pakistan Air Force’s advanced capabilities and technological progress, marking a moment of pride for the nation’s aviation industry.
