PIA’s First Post-Hajj Flight Departs Jeddah with 307 Pakistani Pilgrims

Over 115,000 Pakistanis Performed Hajj This Year Through Government and Private Programs

Pakistan’s post-Hajj flight operation is officially underway, beginning Tuesday evening with the departure of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-732 from Jeddah. The flight, carrying 307 pilgrims, is scheduled to leave King Abdulaziz International Airport at 8:50 PM local time and arrive at Islamabad International Airport at 3:50 AM on Wednesday, according to Dr. Syed Ata Ur Rehman, Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Dr. Ata also announced that the first return flight from Madinah—PK-7030—is set to depart on June 12. It will carry around 307 pilgrims from Madinah to Lahore, departing at 3:30 PM and arriving at 10:30 PM.

The post-Hajj repatriation effort will continue until July 10, concluding with flight PK-7094, which will bring approximately 437 pilgrims from Madinah to Islamabad at 12:30 PM.

In total, over 88,000 pilgrims who performed Hajj under the government scheme will return to Pakistan on 362 scheduled flights.

Dr. Ata further noted that more than 115,000 Pakistanis performed Hajj this year, including those under both government and private arrangements. The Pakistan Hajj Mission has put in place comprehensive logistical measures to ensure a smooth and dignified return for all pilgrims.
