Those Inciting Rebellion Within Security Institution are State Enemies: COAS

ISLAMABAD – Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has declared that anyone attempting to provoke dissent within Pakistan’s security institutions is acting as an enemy of the state.

Speaking at the Overseas Pakistanis Convention, General Munir highlighted the importance of educating younger generations about Pakistan’s origins and the Two-Nation Theory. Addressing the overseas community, he said, “You are not only Pakistan’s ambassadors but also the light that shines on the global stage.”

Rejecting the narrative of “brain drain,” he described overseas Pakistanis as a “brain gain” for the nation, encouraging them to represent Pakistan with pride and dignity wherever they are.

The Army Chief reaffirmed that Pakistan’s strength lies in the unity of its people and armed forces. “No force can harm a nation whose people honor their martyrs,” he stated.

On the fight against terrorism, General Munir remained defiant, declaring, “A few terrorists cannot derail Pakistan’s future. Even ten generations of them cannot harm Balochistan or the country. Balochistan is the crown jewel and an essential part of Pakistan’s destiny.”

He emphasized that a nation where all institutions operate within the framework of the Constitution and the law is called a “hard state” — resilient and strong.

Support for Kashmir and Gaza

Reiterating Pakistan’s firm stance on global issues, General Munir called Kashmir Pakistan’s “jugular vein” and voiced strong support for Palestinians in Gaza. “Every Pakistani heart beats in solidarity with the people of Gaza,” he said, urging hope and resilience.

Overseas Pakistanis: A Source of National Pride

Expressing deep appreciation for the diaspora, General Munir described overseas Pakistanis as a source of strength. “You’re living proof of Pakistan’s talent, resilience, and brilliance,” he said. “Walk tall with pride — you belong to a great nation. We aim to take Pakistan to the heights envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam.”

He emphasized the unshakeable bond between the people and the military. “As long as our nation stands with us, no challenge is insurmountable. We have never bowed before hardship — and we never will.”

A United Vision for a Brighter Future

General Munir called for unity and gratitude, stressing Pakistan’s rich natural and human resources. “The question isn’t if Pakistan will progress — it’s how fast we can make it happen,” he said.

Ending his address with a powerful message of determination, he stated, “We are ready to eliminate anything that stands in the way of Pakistan’s development — together.”

Preserving Heritage and Identity

In his final remarks to the overseas community, the COAS urged them to uphold and pass on Pakistani values to future generations. “Wherever you may live, never forget your proud roots, noble ideals, and strong identity,” he said.

The convention ended with a resounding chant echoing through the hall: “Pakistan Hamesha Zindabad!”
