The United Kingdom, France, and Canada have voiced strong opposition to Israel’s continued military expansion in Gaza, according to a joint statement shared by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on X (formerly Twitter).
“The level of human suffering in Gaza is intolerable,” the statement emphasized.
The three nations also criticized Israel’s recent decision to allow only a minimal amount of food into the besieged region, calling it “wholly inadequate.”
“We urge the Israeli government to halt its military operations in Gaza immediately and allow unrestricted humanitarian aid to enter,” the statement concluded.
