Number of Martyred Personnel Rises to 13 in Wake of Indian Aggression: ISPR

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced that the number of Pakistani military personnel martyred during the recent confrontation with India has increased to 13, following the deaths of two more servicemen who succumbed to their injuries while hospitalized.

According to the military’s media wing, the unprovoked Indian assault, launched on the night of May 6–7, 2025, targeted six locations within Pakistan and struck civilian areas, including women, children, and the elderly. The ISPR condemned the attack as a “blatant and cowardly act of aggression.”

“While defending the motherland with unwavering bravery, two more of our valiant soldiers embraced martyrdom today,” the statement read. The newly identified martyrs are Havaldar Muhammad Naveed of the Pakistan Army and Senior Technician Muhammad Ayaz of the Pakistan Air Force.

The total number of injured personnel now stands at 78, as per ISPR figures.

Paying tribute to the fallen, the ISPR emphasized, “Their noble sacrifice is a lasting testament to their courage, sense of duty, and deep patriotism. Their memory will remain etched in the nation’s heart, serving as a source of inspiration for future generations.”
