President Urges Strengthening of Global Trade Relations

Calls for Enhanced Cooperation in Trade, Economy, and Culture

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday emphasized the need to further strengthen bilateral relations with Thailand, the Philippines, Slovenia, Serbia, Burkina Faso, Zambia, and Latvia, particularly in the areas of trade, economic cooperation, and cultural exchange.

He shared these remarks during meetings with the newly appointed ambassadors of these countries, who formally presented their credentials to the president at Aiwan-e-Sadr.

Upon arrival, the ambassadors-designate were welcomed with a guard of honour by a well-presented contingent of the Armed Forces.
