Silver Also Records Gains, Up Rs 86 Per Tola to Rs 3,850
Gold prices saw a significant rise in both local and international markets on Thursday.
In the international bullion market, gold climbed $13, reaching $3,343 per ounce. This upward trend was quickly mirrored in Pakistan’s local markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs 1,335 per tola, bringing it to Rs 356,000. The rate for 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs 1,144 to Rs 305,212.
Silver prices followed suit, with the per tola rate up by Rs 86 to Rs 3,850, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs 73 to Rs 3,300.
A day earlier, on Wednesday, domestic gold prices had inched up by Rs 300 per tola to Rs 354,665, and by Rs 258 per 10 grams to Rs 304,068. This mild rebound came after a sharp Rs 3,800 per tola decline on Tuesday.
