K-P Enhances School Security Following Khuzdar Attack

PESHAWAR: In the wake of the recent suicide attack on a school van in Khuzdar, Balochistan, which resulted in the deaths of several children, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have promptly moved to bolster security measures at schools throughout the province.

Police officials have officially notified the Department of Education, urging the implementation of heightened safety protocols at all educational institutions.

Responding to this alert, the Directorate of Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued instructions to all District Education Officers, including those in the merged tribal districts.

The directive stresses the responsibility of school principals to ensure the safety of their schools and mandates the adoption of all necessary precautions to safeguard students and staff against potential threats.

Authorities have emphasized the need for proactive measures to prevent any unfortunate incidents, reaffirming that student safety remains the highest priority.
