Trump Organization Announces Landmark Golf and Villa Project in Qatar

DOHA — The Trump Organization has signed its first major development agreement in Qatar, partnering with Qatari Diar and Dar Global to build a luxury golf course and villa community near Doha, officials confirmed Wednesday.

The agreement marks the Trump Organization’s debut in the Gulf nation and will see the construction of the Trump International Golf Club Simaisma and high-end Trump Villas. These are part of the expansive Simaisma Project — a state-supported development plan unveiled last year, which also includes a marina and a theme park.

Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization and son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, was present at the signing ceremony. He praised the partnership, saying: “We are incredibly proud to expand the Trump brand into Qatar through this exceptional collaboration with Qatari Diar and Dar Global. The golf club and luxury villas will embody the highest standards of quality.”

Qatari officials also expressed enthusiasm for the venture. Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiya, Qatar’s Minister of Municipality and Chairman of Qatari Diar, welcomed the project, stating, “This partnership will enhance Qatar’s appeal as a global hub for tourism, investment, and luxury living.”

The Trump Organization’s collaboration with Dar Global continues a pattern of strategic partnerships across the Gulf region. Previous joint ventures include a luxury residential tower in Jeddah, a high-end development in Dubai, and a hotel resort in Oman.
