Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Kolpur, Kachhi District, Balochistan, targeting terrorists linked to the Indian-sponsored proxy group Fitna al Hindustan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Friday.
Acting on intelligence reports, the forces quickly engaged the terrorists, leading to a fierce gunfight that resulted in the elimination of two terrorists confirmed to be supported by India, according to the ISPR.
Alongside neutralising the militants, security personnel recovered a substantial stockpile of weapons and ammunition. The terrorists were reportedly involved in multiple attacks orchestrated by Indian interests in the region.
The operation is ongoing, with sanitisation efforts underway to clear any remaining threats in the area. The ISPR reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to eradicate Indian-backed terrorism and hold those responsible accountable.
