Seven ‘Indian-Backed Terrorists’ Killed in Balochistan, Weapons Recovered: ISPR

Seven terrorists allegedly linked to the Indian-supported group Fitna al Hindustan were killed in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) carried out in Balochistan on June 2, 2025.

According to a statement from the military’s media wing, the first operation took place near Mach in Kachhi District, targeting the reported presence of Fitna al Hindustan militants. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that after intense gunfire, five Indian-sponsored terrorists were eliminated.

In a second operation in the Margand area of Kalat District, a terrorist hideout belonging to Fitna al Hindustan was raided, resulting in the killing of two militants. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the slain terrorists, who were actively involved in multiple terrorist activities.

The ISPR reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating Indian-backed terrorism and bringing those responsible and their facilitators to justice.

Earlier, the federal government officially labeled all terrorist groups operating in Balochistan under the collective name ‘Fitna al Hindustan’, accusing India of waging a proxy war through these organizations.

A notification issued by the Ministry of Interior emphasized that this designation reflects the groups’ harmful activities against Pakistan’s sovereignty, Islamic faith, and traditions. It aims to expose the true ideology and malicious intent sponsored by India.

The directive instructed all government agencies to adopt this terminology immediately, signaling a coordinated effort to reshape the narrative around insurgent violence in the region.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also condemned India for escalating indirect aggression after its setbacks in a recent security operation named “Marka-e-Haq.”

He accused India of intensifying its proxy terrorism campaign in Pakistan, especially in Balochistan, but assured that Pakistan will firmly resist and overcome the threats posed by Fitna al Hindustan and its proxies.
