Security forces in Pakistan killed five India-backed terrorists during two separate intelligence-based operations in Balochistan on Wednesday, according to the military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).The first operation took place in Loralai district, where four terrorists linked to the India-sponsored group Fitna al Hindustan were neutralized in a fierce exchange of fire. Acting on precise intelligence about the terrorists’ presence, troops successfully engaged them, recovering weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the site, ISPR said.The slain militants were reportedly involved in several attacks, including two major incidents on the N-70 highway near Rarasham on August 26, 2024, and February 18, 2025. Those attacks claimed the lives of 30 innocent civilians, security officials noted.The terrorists had been under surveillance by law enforcement agencies for a considerable time and were being actively tracked and pursued, the statement added.In a separate operation in Kech district, another terrorist was killed during a brief encounter with security forces.The military reaffirmed its commitment to eradicating Indian-backed terrorism from Pakistani soil and pledged to hold all those involved, along with their facilitators, accountable.
